Explanatory Notes

Strawberries Fruit
Strawberries are rich in Vitamin C and polyphenols and have very high anti-oxidant activity which improves with storage. Known to contain soothing properties and it is excellent in reducing the appearance of pores.

Honey
Honey is a natural humectants said to have antiseptic qualities.

Goat Milk
Goat milk contains an abundance of beta-casein, vitamins and minerals nourish and help hydrate dry skin.

Almond
Almond oil contains 62-86% oleic acid, 20-30% linoleic acid and; other valuable fatty acids, rich in beta-sitosterol, squalene and; vitamin E. It is an excellent emollient that leaves the skin soft, smooth and conditioned, good nourishing and revitalizing effect that penetrates well into the skin. An excellent moisturizer, lubricant, heals injured chapped skin.

Pomegranate Fruit
Pomegranate is an organic, Kosher food-grade fruit which contains a wide range of polyphenolic compounds including ellagic acid, flavonoids, anthocyanidins and tannins, as well as Vitamin C. A good anti-ageing component.

Mango Fruit
Mangos are a member of the cashew family and high in Vitamin A, C and Beta Carotene. it is said to prevent drying of the skin and formation of wrinkles by reducing degeneration of skin cells and restoring flexibility.

Guava Fruit
Guava is very rich in Vitamin A, B & C. Its Vitamin B content helps retain moisture. It is a valuable component for anti-aging skin care as it helps prevent the oxidation (breakdown) process of the cell and moisturize the skin deeply.

Figs Fruit
Figs have relatively high levels of a phytochemical that has shown activities against skin cancer. It is beneficial in reducing superficial surface skin cells - leaving the skin refreshed, renewed, rejuvenated and skin cells’ functions boosted.

Apple Fruit
Apple contains a natural alpha-hydroxy acid, which refines and rejuvenates the skin. It is best known for its moisturizing and anti-aging properties, making it perfect for dry or mature skin. It also has exceptional elastase inhibition activity, making it suitable for treatments aimed at maintaining the skin’s youthful elasticity just like a baby like skin.

Banana Fruit
Banana is rich in potassium and Vitamin A. In formulations it has proven to be great for dry skin, and contains no known substance to aggravate or irritate the skin. Some users have used banana fruit extract by itself as a rich, moisturizing facial mask. Vitamin A helps to normalize the functions of the skin cells in order to maintain the optimum possible operational level.

Mushroom (Shiitake, Mannentake/Reishi)
The Mushroom Complex combines Mannentake/Reishi and Shiitake mushrooms in a matrix to create a solution with the capability to increase cell turnover and collagen synthesis, improve skin hydration and firmness, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

The Shiitake mushroom is a rich source of various vitamins and minerals (including germanium), amino acids, enzymes, fiber, and nucleic acid derivatives. Green/White Tea
Green/White Tea, duo powers, are actives of diverse advantages, primarily due to the content of Polyphenols and Methylxanthines. The Polyphenols are responsible for the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition, they have the ability to inhibit collagenase, the enzyme causing degradation of collagen and the vascular endothelium. Multi-functional in application, our Gingko contains two groups of compounds, Flavonoids and terpenes, which indicate several desirable properties, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, vessel protection, and cell regeneration. Demonstrated reductions in allergic reactions and general inflammatory responses due to PAF antagonistic activity make the terpenes (Gingkolides) contained in this extract an attractive component group of compounds for use in promotion of anti-cellulite, anti-aging, photo-protection, re-epithelizing and other cosmetic advantages in formulation.

Papaya Fruit
Papaya contains Vitamin A which helps to increase new cell formation, Vitamin C as an anti-oxidant and proteins to smooth and soften the skin. The fruit enzyme, papain, dissolves excessive cell build-up on the stratum corneum making Papaya excellent in stabilizing oily skin. It is also an effective exfoliate on dry areas. Papaya is often used in skin products to give a natural 'lift' and for rejuvenation of the skin. It softens comedones, brightens and prepares the skin for any treatment. Its cleansing and antiseptic properties also make Papaya useful for acne control.

Açai Fruit
Açai is an Amazon Rain Forest product obtained from the fruit of the Açai palm. It is rich in phytosterols, anthoncyanins, essential fatty acids and vitamins.

Anthocyanins contained in Açai reduce cell destruction by combating the ageing process. Açai is also a source of essential fatty acids such as linoleic acid, omega-6 and omega-9 that promotes nutrition and a healthful aspect to the skin. The phytosterols present are said to regulate the balance and activity of the lipids in the superficial layer of the skin. They are also used in the treatment of dermatitis to stimulate the regeneration process.

Alfalfa Plant
Alfalfa aids in the assimilation of protein, fats and carbohydrates. It reduces blood cholesterol and arterial plaque deposits. It contains high amounts of chlorophyll which causes its deodorant qualities. Alfalfa is very high in trace minerals. Source of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that decrease the incidence and severity of inflammation. It also contains the eight digestive enzymes and the eight essential amino acids of protein. It is very rich in Vitamin U, used for peptic ulcers. Also used as a blood thinner.

Centella Asiatica (Hydrocotyl) Plant

In India pharmacopoeia, Hydrocotyl is recorded to be considered having ‘near miracle’ effect for supreme ability to stop itch and treat burns.

Perilla Frutescens Plant
There are many scientifically proven medicinal uses for Perilla. It has been used for centuries in Oriental medicine for various marvelous functions. The plant constituents confirm these uses in alternative medicine and ongoing studies have revealed that this plant is useful in curing many cancers as well as various other diseases and disorders with scientific evidence.

It is a pungent, aromatic, warming herb. An infusion of the plant is useful in the treatment of asthma, colds, cough and lung afflictions, influenza prevention, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, food poisoning and allergic reactions (especially from seafood), and to restore health and balance.

Watermelon Fruit
Watermelon extract with the ability to protect the DNA in skin cells from damage caused by UV-light induced free radicals. It is a skin protective active containing naturally occurring vitamins, carbohydrates and amino acids such as Citrulline. Under extreme conditions Watermelon plants develop their own defense system by producing Compatible Solutes. These are water soluble molecules, for example amino acids, which penetrate easily into the skin. Compatible Solutes also can naturally occur in the human body. Watermelon is very strong in protecting the DNA of the skin’s fibroblasts and keratinocytes.
