CAN WE STILL
HAVE ACNE WHEN OLD?

It is a myth if women believe that you have outgrown your acne one you reach your 20s and beyond!

It is a fact that women in their 20s, 30s, 40s and even 50s could have acne just like teenagers!

And, even if you have a clear skin as a teenager, there is no guarantee that you would not get acne later in your life.

Who to blame? Crazy Inconsistent Hormones.

What is true is that men can outgrow acne after puberty since their hormone level balances, while women’s hormone levels fluctuate throughout their lifetime, which is also why women experience breakouts around their menstrual cycle.

Regardless of your characteristics and identify, the direct causes is the same across the board.

Direct causes?
1) Dead cells accumulation,
2) P. Acne proliferation &
3) Excessive Sebum excretion.

However, there are numerous Contributing Factors that build up Direct Causes of acnes. Hence, don’t be surprise to see men having mild breakout later in their life. And also, the Contributing Factors for causing acne in us when young and old could have shifted from one factor/s to others.

For instance, refined skin structure with extreme skin dehydration, eroded skin barriers, over consumption of Vitamin B groups or Vitamin C, over exfoliation, and many more. While it is very important to tackle the acne causes effectively, never neglect your contributing factors. Otherwise, you may be heading a path that is circular!
